The Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM), in collaboration with the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna, has successfully concluded a five-day capacity-building workshop for 35 instructors. The training focused on modern teaching methodologies and effective assessment techniques aimed at improving instructional quality and academic standards within the Nigerian Air Force’s educational system.

This exercise marks the second phase of the partnership between NAFIAM and NTI, underscoring the Nigerian Air Force’s unwavering commitment to enhancing professional competence, fostering innovation in education, and building a knowledge-driven force.

The programme comes at a strategic time as NAFIAM prepares to commence its newly approved National Diploma courses in Public Administration, Music Technology, Mass Communication, and Hospitality Management. Approved by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, these programmes reflect the NAF leadership’s vision to expand academic opportunities for both service personnel and civilians. Through this training, NAFIAM is strengthening its instructional base to ensure the delivery of quality, world-class education that supports the Service’s operational readiness and human capital development.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Director and Chief Executive of NTI, Professor Sadiya Sani Daura, represented by Dr. (Mrs.) Mobolaji Omobola Oyedeji, applauded the participants for their discipline, active engagement, and dedication. She encouraged them to apply the skills and knowledge gained during the workshop to improve learning outcomes within their various departments.
