Vice President Kashim Shettima departed Abuja today to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the inauguration of President Mamadi Doumbouya of Guinea-Conakry.
The Vice President’s attendance at the inauguration reflects Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and fostering regional cooperation within the West African sub-region.
Following the inauguration in Guinea-Conakry, Vice President Shettima is also scheduled to attend the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, where global leaders and business executives will deliberate on key economic and development issues.
According to the Presidency, the Vice President’s participation in both engagements aligns with President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, which emphasizes regional leadership, economic partnership and Nigeria’s integration into the global economy.
