Tanzanian music star Juma Jux and Nigerian fashion entrepreneur Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mabamala are expecting their first child together, following a series of widely celebrated wedding ceremonies held across Tanzania and Nigeria.
The couple, who officially tied the knot in early 2025, began their wedding journey with a traditional introduction and Islamic Nikkah ceremony in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in February. They later held a civil wedding in Lagos, Nigeria.
On April 17, 2025, the pair hosted a traditional Yoruba wedding at Five Palms, Oniru, Lagos, attended by prominent personalities including Governor Ademola Adeleke and music legend Chief Ebenezer Obey. Priscilla, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, wore a purple aso-oke gown, while Juma Jux appeared in a matching agbada and cap with traditional accessories.
The celebration continued with a white wedding on April 19 at a beachfront venue in Lagos. The event featured elaborate floral decorations, a six-tier cake, and performances by Diamond Platnumz and Chief Ebenezer Obey. The bridal gown was designed by Veekee James, while the groom wore an ivory tuxedo by Mai Atafo.
A final reception was held in Tanzania on May 28, 2025, where the couple concluded their wedding festivities surrounded by family and guests from several countries, including Kenya, Uganda, China, and the United States.
The couple announced the pregnancy in July 2025 with a maternity photo shoot shared on social media, drawing widespread congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities.
