Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), to commend him for his distinguished and selfless service to Nigeria.
During the visit, the Governor lauded General Musa’s exceptional courage, professionalism, and unwavering dedication throughout his military career, describing him as “a proud son of Kaduna State who served his country with honour, integrity, and distinction.”
Governor Sani highlighted the former CDS’s outstanding leadership and contributions to national security, noting that his tenure was marked by commitment to the unity and stability of the nation. He stated that Kaduna State and indeed the entire country remain proud of General Musa’s achievements and sacrifices in defence of Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

The Governor also extended heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding General Musa worthy of the exalted position of Chief of Defence Staff, noting that the appointment was a testament to the President’s inclusive leadership style and commitment to rewarding merit, competence, and patriotism.
Governor Sani wished the retired General continued success and fulfilment in his post-service endeavours, assuring him of the continued prayers and goodwill of the government and people of Kaduna State.
General Musa, in his response, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the visit and his kind words, reiterating his continued commitment to the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria.
