The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, on behalf of the officers, men, and women of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, has extended warm felicitations to the Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
In a statement signed by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, the CDS described the Honourable Minister as a visionary leader whose humility, patriotism, and dedication to national service have greatly contributed to strengthening Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.
General Musa noted that Alhaji Badaru’s steadfast support, wise counsel, and exemplary leadership continue to inspire the Armed Forces of Nigeria in the effective discharge of their constitutional duties. He further commended the Minister for fostering greater synergy among the Services and defence institutions, a development that has enhanced operational efficiency and boosted the morale of personnel across all theatres of operation.
The CDS lauded the Honourable Minister’s leadership style, describing it as a source of motivation not only to members of the Armed Forces but also to Nigerians at large.
While rejoicing with Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru on this milestone, General Musa prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health, and divine wisdom for the Minister as he continues to serve the nation with distinction.
The Chief of Defence Staff, on behalf of the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria, once again wishes the Honourable Minister a happy birthday and many more years of fruitful service to the nation.
