The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has officially launched its newly redesigned website, reaffirming its commitment to leveraging technology to improve transparency, efficiency, and service delivery in Nigeria’s insurance sector.
The revamped platform, accessible via www.naicom.gov.ng, is designed to provide stakeholders and the general public with seamless access to information on insurance regulations, policies, and industry developments.
Among its key features are:
Improved Navigation: A user-friendly interface for quick access to relevant information.
Insurance Industry Insights: Updates on industry trends, regulatory reforms, and best practices.
Publications and Resources: Easy access to NAICOM reports, guidelines, and other official documents.
Contact Information: Direct communication channels for inquiries and feedback.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, described the initiative as a major step in the Commission’s drive to strengthen stakeholder engagement and promote good governance through digital innovation.
“We are excited to unveil our new website, which will serve as a valuable resource for the insurance industry, stakeholders, and the general public. Our goal is to provide a platform that is informative, user-friendly, and responsive to the needs of our stakeholders,” he said.
The redesigned website aligns with the Federal Government’s broader digital transformation agenda aimed at improving public service delivery across all sectors. NAICOM noted that the platform would serve not only as an information hub but also as a tool to foster accountability and build public confidence in Nigeria’s insurance industry.
In addition to the website, the Commission encouraged the public to follow its official social media handles for regular updates and engagement.
